This compilation of 150 years of American History was recorded February 2009 in Washington, DC with students from the music program at Shepherd Elementary School in concert with the DC Labor Chorus.  Shepherd Elementary, under the direction of Ken Giles and the DC Labor Chorus, under the direction of Elise Bryant is a cross generational presentation of songs of struggle, challenge, triumph, and liberation. Songs include: Harriet Tubman, John Brown's Body, Bread and Roses, Solidarity Forever, None of Us Are Free, This Land Is Your Land, Ella's Song, and many more....
